If you've ever wondered what a classic drum setup is supposed to sound like, this is it. The Remo Ambassador® Coated 12" drumhead is easily the most popular head on the planet, trusted by generations of drummers to deliver a reliable, beautifully balanced acoustic sound. It hits that sweet spot of warm, open tones, a bright and crisp stick attack, and just the right amount of controlled sustain to keep your kit sounding lively without ringing out of control.

Simple, Premium 1-Ply Build
Built from a single layer of 1-ply 10-mil coated film, this 12-inch head gives you a highly responsive, expressive feel under your sticks. The subtle texture of the coating does a great job of taming harsh overtones while adding warmth and enhancing your stick definition, or brush response if you play jazz. Whether you’re tracking in a quiet studio or playing a loud live gig, it gives you the exact clarity and projection you need.

The Ultimate Dynamic Fit
At 12 inches, this head is the absolute sweet spot for standard rack toms, smaller floor toms, or auxiliary snare drums. It’s incredibly versatile and fits right into any musical genre, from jazz and fusion to rock and pop. Swap your old heads out for the world's favorite 1-ply coated head and hear what your drums are actually capable of.
