Engineered to deliver modern musicality with refined acoustic brilliance, the Zildjian 18" A Custom Crash offers drummers a larger, richer acoustic footprint without sacrificing quick-speaking speed. Crafted in collaboration with legendary drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, the A Custom series revolutionized modern cymbal sound by pairing state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques with classic B20 bronze.

Built to produce pristine high-end shimmer with deep, colorful body:
-Brilliant Finish & Rotary Hammering: The striking mirror-like brilliant finish enhances high-frequency presence, while symmetric rotary tonal grooves deliver an exceptionally smooth, balanced frequency output across the entire surface.
-Lower Profile & Thin Weight: Features a flatter bow geometry and thin weight gauge, giving the alloy more flex and "give" when struck for a soft stick feel and instant response.
-18-Inch Depth & Clean Decay: The 18-inch diameter adds low-end warmth and punch behind the bright high-end attack, allowing it to open up fully at low-to-high dynamics and decay evenly without cluttering the mix.
