Delivering deep acoustic complexity with modern performance characteristics, the Zildjian 16" K Custom Dark Crash is a premier choice for drummers seeking dark, organic cymbal sounds. Expanding on traditional K Series heritage, the K Custom line incorporates innovative hammering methods to create a versatile voice that cuts through live mixes without lingering overtones.

Engineered to deliver trashy, warm wash with a controlled decay profile:
-Specialized Over-Hammering: Features deliberate, heavy hammering across the bow and bell, which breaks up surface tension to yield a dark, complex pitch and rapid sound decay.
-Thin Weight & Fast Response: Opens up instantly with a quick, bright initial attack followed by a warm, full-bodied low-frequency wash.
-Controlled Wash & Projection: The rapid decay prevents low-end build-up or unwanted ring, letting you lay into crash accents without muddying up the stage or studio room sound.
