The PRS SE Mark Holcomb SVN Signature 7-String Electric Guitar stands as a unique, high-performance staple in the PRS lineup. Tailored to meet the complex rhythm work and soaring leads of modern progressive metal, this signature instrument combines gorgeous aesthetics—highlighted by a stunning Holcomb Blue Burst finish over a quilted maple veneer—with highly specific, player-driven hardware choices.

Engineered from the ground up for extended-range precision, the SE Mark Holcomb SVN features an extended 26.5-inch scale length. This extra length keeps the lower strings tight and responsive, making it an absolute mainstay for aggressive low-end drop tunings. The multi-ply maple neck sports a highly comfortable Wide Thin profile complete with a smooth, frictionless satin finish. Capping the neck is a fast-playing, bound ebony fingerboard with a super-flat 20-inch radius, 24 frets, and iconic PRS bird inlays, giving you a frictionless canvas for lightning-fast sweeps and wide string bends.

At the heart of the SVN’s massive voice is a pair of Mark Holcomb's signature Seymour Duncan "Scarlet" and "Scourge" humbuckers. Specifically voiced to handle modeling amplifiers and complex chord voicings, these pickups deliver a masterfully balanced lower output that retains absolute clarity under heavy distortion. To further widen your sonic options, the electronics include a 3-way blade switch and a master tone control equipped with a push/pull coil-split function, allowing you to effortlessly pivot to crisp, snappy single-coil sounds that track beautifully in a busy mix.
