Crafted with a highly durable, eco-friendly Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) crate-style body and a premium Meranti wood faceplate, this cajon delivers a professional sound signature with distinct separation between deep, punchy bass and bright, articulate slaps. Featuring two sets of fixed snare wires and a patented, rear-facing built-in bass port, it projects a thunderous acoustic low-end response. It is finished with a rustic crate design and a graphic faceplate honoring America’s iconic music cities.

Patented Bass Port & Dual Fixed Snares

Bring a piece of classic Americana and powerful rhythmic drive to your next acoustic set with the Pearl Primero "Music Town USA" Cajon (Model: PBC122B). Blending a rugged, road-ready build with advanced acoustic engineering, this specialized box drum is built for percussionists who demand stellar low-frequency projection and pristine snare snap without bringing a full drum kit to the gig.

The foundation of the Primero's booming resonance lies in its Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) body, which is shaped to resemble a rustic wooden shipping crate. MDF acts as a highly dense, consistent, and structurally sound acoustic chamber. It is paired with a premium Meranti wood faceplate, a hardwood prized in percussion design for its straight grain, exceptional durability, and natural hardness. This combination registers even the lightest finger touches and subtle nuances of your hand technique with crisp, high-frequency definition.
