Engineered to streamline early percussion education, the Vic Firth Launch Pad Kit eliminates the guesswork for parents, teachers, and beginner drummers. By combining proper technique literature, specialized junior-sized sticks, and a portable practice pad, this kit allows students to develop proper grip habits, reading skills, and timing in a quiet, home-friendly environment.

Everything a new student needs to start learning rhythm and technique right out of the box:
-Vic Firth Snare Drum Method - Book 1: Authored by Vic Firth himself, this industry-standard instructional method book teaches fundamental snare drum reading, rhythm structures, stroke techniques, and musicality step-by-step.
-Pair of SD1 Jr. Snare Drum Sticks: Turned from select US Hickory, the SD1 Jr. scales down the iconic orchestral SD1 General stick into a lighter, shorter profile tailored specifically for smaller student hands without sacrificing acoustic feel.
-6″ Single-Sided Practice Pad: Features a dense rubber surface mounted on a sturdy base, delivering a natural acoustic rebound that mimics an actual tuned drumhead while keeping practice volume whisper-quiet for home use.
