Combining iconic American craftsmanship with a sleek visual edge, the Vic Firth American Classic® 5B Black Finish gives heavy-hitting drummers a bold aesthetic without compromising on feel or acoustic performance. Computer-matched for weight and pitch-paired for acoustic symmetry, every pair provides identical response across both hands for seamless playing.

Crafted for maximum impact absorption, long-lasting durability, and standout visual appeal:

Select US Hickory Construction: Formed from dense American hickory, offering a rigid structure that easily withstands aggressive rimshots and hard cymbal strikes while absorbing impact shock to protect wrists and hands.
Substantial 5B Profile: Features a .595″ diameter and 16″ length, giving players a thicker, comfortable grip that provides extra physical presence and power on drums.
Distinctive Black Paint Finish: Coated in a sleek, opaque black finish paired with a natural wood tip, adding visual flair on stage while maintaining a secure, tactile grip.
